Accommodations

PANORAMA is aptly named for its magnificent views of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island, Mt. Tarawera and the surrounding countryside. The architecturally designed cedar and brick home with large picture windows on all sides, takes full advantage of the surrounding views and landscaped gardens. Furnished to a luxury standard, Panorama features cathedral ceilings, spacious rooms, private guest entrance, and plenty of off street parking. Dinner can be served on request at the large Rimu table in the formal dining room. The Homestay is situated on 4 acres of farmland, with friendly sheep just waiting for a pat and something to eat from your hand.
You can be as formal or relaxed as you wish. The more energetic can play tennis on the championship sized court, or go for many local walks, one being Hamurana Springs, where one million gallons of cold water comes out of the ground per hour. Or you can relax in the heated massage spa pool, or in front of the open fires in winter or in the garden in summer.

Rooms/Suites

The large spacious bedrooms all have their own ensuite or private bathroom, which have heaters, heated towel rails, hair dryers and toiletries. You will be most comfortable snuggled in your beds with electric blankets, feather or wool duvets and heaters in each room. Views of the lake and the landscaped gardens are picturesque from each room.

With Rotorua City only 10 minutes from Panorama, all amenities are within easy distance, such as Polynesian pools, saunas, gyms, conference facilities and night clubs to name a few. You can enjoy the exquisit array of fine dining in Rotorua, with its many top class restaurants from a wide variety of countries, or you could have a home cooked meal without the 10 minutes drive. The emphasis on meals is fresh home grown, home made and local produce. The internet and email are available on site.

Policies & Restrictions

Panorama is a non smoking home, however, there are plenty of areas in the garden where you may enjoy your smoke. There are no facilities for pets and the home is unsuitable for small children.

Rates & Availability

All rates include a continental breakfast, however a cooked breakfast is available on request at an additional $10.00 per person.
The King room with spectacular views of the Lake is $NZ180.00/night.
The Superking or twin room with views of the lake and gardens is $165.00.
The Queen room with views of the lake and gardens is $150.00/night.
Discount is offered for over two nights stay.
A full dinner with a bottle of complimentary wine is available on request at $45.00 per person.

From Rotorua, travel north on State Highway 5 to roundabout. Turn off to Ngongataha and travel around lake another 5km towards Hamurana. Turn left into Fryer road and travel 1.5kms to Panorama driveway on right (No. 144)
