Loule is one of the oldest towns in the region is situated 18 km (11 miles) north west of Faro in the barrocal, the foothills of the Algarve mountains. Loule is a busy centre with its colourful and bustling Saturday morning market, which is famous amongst the locals and holidaymakers. The market has an excellent selection of fruit and vegetables, and fresh fish every day.
Leatherwear such as bags, belts and shoes, or embroidered linen and tableware, are also to found in abundance, so too is pottery. Loule is a town where craftsmanship is still very active.


Loule is the centre of the Algarvian craft industry and you will often see artisans working brass, copper or clay in and about the streets of Loule. The Moorish castle that dominates the town the town with its thick boundary walls is a proud and imposing structure. Today is houses the local tourist office and a museum.
Loule has a maze of narrow alleyways lined with tall compact houses contrasts with an expansive boulevard shaded by rows of trees, which in spring burst into pinky-red blossom. Loule is famous throughout Portugal as it hosts the biggest and most flamboyant celebrations at Carnival time, it also celebrates the almond blossom festival at the same time.

The Quintassential is close to the world famous golf course of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. The waterparks are a mere 10 minutes away and so too are the beaches of Quarteira and Quinta do Lago.
For the quiet folk we also have some of the most beautiful walks and for the bird watchers we have some of the rarest birds in Europe on our doorstep.
Vacation Rental Property
The Orange Cottage is the largest of the apartment cottages at Quintassential, a large two bedroom rustic cottage decorated in typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls and with a brand new fully fitted modern kitchen including an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle & toaster.

The Lounge/diner is tastefully decorated and has a comfy leather three piece suite, Satellite TV (free to view channels), DVD (guests to bring own DVDs) video (videos available to rent) & radio/CD player (guests to bring own CDs), a selection of books, puzzles, chess set, playing cards, ceiling fan & the Orange Cottage boasts an original 19th century fireplace that now houses the wood-burning stove. Double doors lead on to the very large private terrace with it's own table and chairs, brick Bar-B-Q area and reclining chairs.

The bathroom has a new luxury double walk-in shower, washbasin, WC, bidet and sloping wooden ceiling. The Orange Cottage bedrooms consist of one double bed & one twin bed both with sloping wooden ceilings. There is also a digital security safe in the cottage.
The Orange Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults & an infant.

Services Offered
On arrival at the Quintassential all our guests are greeted by the owners, there is a generous welcome hamper, bathrobes for our guests to use. We provide pool towels, hairdryers and cots and high chairs are provided free of charge.

We do not allow pets at the Quintassential and we do not permit smoking in the accommodation.

Prices from £475.00 GBP per week
Prices are based on four people occupying the Orange Cottage.
For all additional people there is a charge of £75.00 GBP per person per week.
