The big attraction at the Running-R Ranch is the horseback riding! Explore the adjoining State Park on horseback or join our experienced cowboys and cowgirls in the barn and learn about horses and ranching. You also can take lessons in the arena to improve your riding skills. Enjoy the great food in our big Round-up Room, where you can meet other guests, play pool or watch TV. Go hiking, biking, play ping-pong or horseshoe pitching or relax on the porch. And if you need to cool off just hop into our swimming-pool. During your stay at Blackwater Creek Ranch you will enjoy your stay in one of our 15 cozy log cabins. The main lodge hosts our dining room and full service Cowboy saloon.

Adjoining the pristine Gila National Forest, Double E Guest Ranch is just 30 minutes northwest from historic Silver City, New Mexico. Open year round, Double E Ranch offers cattle roundups, exciting horseback trips into the Gila Wilderness, clinics in Roping and other cattle related activities.
Our day begins at 7 a.m. when we invite our guests to help feed livestock, groom and saddle their horses. After a hearty breakfast, saddle up for a scenic trail ride or to work cattle. Back to Headquarters in the late afternoon to prepare for a home cooked supper and relaxing evening spent around a campfire with other guests, sharing the days' events.

ENJOY MONTANA!The Rich Ranch is located in the scenic Blackfoot River Valley of western Montana -along the Lewis and Clark Trail- and adjacent to the spectacular Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. Our newly built cedar/log lodge and cabins are nestled in the edge of a large natural meadow with a backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. We are surrounded by a combination of state and national forest with the renowned Bob Marshall Wilderness out our back door. Ranch elevation is 4300' with the mountains around us rising to 9000'
We are open year around - Spring and Summer activities include horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, ranch life, and car tours to local points of interest. During the fall we offer fair chase big game hunting for elk, deer, bear, and mountain lion. Scenic winter snowmobile tours are available December through March.

Shangrila Retreat Guest Ranch, located in South Boston, Virginia, only one hour North of Raleigh, North Carolina, offers comfortable lodgings, quality horses and beautiful trails. Our horseback riding program accommodates the first time rider as well as those more experienced. Trail rides range from an hour to all day with lunch on the trail. Guests are given riding instruction before heading out on the trail and there is also a riding arena for those wishing to have a lesson. An experienced trail guide will answer any questions and give specific instructions while trail riding.
Guests may check in as early as 10 am. their first day and check out at 4 pm. their last. Horseback riding is available each day and is included in the vacation package prices. For the non-riders, wagon rides are available so that you can still join in on the trail.

The Summer Season provides incredible family vacation opportunities. Endless horseback riding potential abounds. As an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge we offer some of the most spectacular fishing in North America. Outdoor pool, full service spa, tennis courts, mountain biking, and hiking insure that there is ample adventure for every member of your family.

In the Fall Season, the ranch is available for private group and corporate retreats. We are a private, secluded, and unique alternative for productive group events. Everything from meeting space to quality cuisine, to activities, to an impressive wine list is at your disposal.

Our Hunting Season is spectacular. We truly define "luxury hunting". Our guests enjoy access to over 16,000 acres of private land for quality elk and mule deer hunting. All complemented by our five spur service, accomodations, and cuisine. Truly the finest hunting experience in all of Colorado.

The Holiday Season at the C Lazy U celebrates a very traditional western Christmas. Horse drawn sleigh rides, tubing, ice skating, hot chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies define our atmosphere. Santa Claus arrives in true western fashion with his magical bag in tow with gifts for all.

The Winter constitutes a true winter wonderland. Private snowcat ski tours, sledding, tubing, cross country skiing, hockey, and snowmobiling top the activity list. Winter Park and Sol Vista ski resorts are also located within minutes of the Ranch. The C Lazy U Ranch is a one stop ski vacation destination, and one that will not soon be forgotten.

Spring: Throughout the spring months, the Ranch is available for private and corporate retreats.

Since 1900, the Lozier family has hosted cowboy/cowgirls, horse enthusiats and folks who wish to experience an authentic, western cowboy way of life. We are a western working guest ranch, not a resort. An interest in horses, ranching, cattle work and riding horses in beautiful country is paramount to obtaining the utmost enjoyment during your vacation. The Box "R" is located at the base of the Wind River Mountain Range in Western Wyoming. NOSE-TO-TAIL riding strongly discouraged. Experience riding liberties and freedoms not found at other ranches.
Rise with the howl of the Coyotes and watch the sunrise rise over the Wind River Mtns., eat a hearty homecooked breakfast, head down to the barn, brush down and saddle up your hoss. Then hit the trail moving cattle, or head into the back country wilderness to view Wyoming's magnificent wildlife, including bald eagles, hawks, moose, deer, antelope, or elk. Enjoy a sunrise breakfast on the trail, a beach cook-out and let the stars and moonlight guide you home. You'll return to your home exhilirated by this ranch vacation.

Adventures at our ranch appeal to all age groups who would like an active outdoor vacation. Our horseback rides go beyond nose-to-tail riding with chances to do a "cattle drive". We teach Western Horsemanship. Visitors can enjoy some of the finest wildlife viewing in Montana. We host just a limited amount of guests so a vacation to our ranch feels like it is your "own ranch". Besides the riding, guests may enjoy great hiking, shooting a rifle, fishing, swimming, and gold panning. One of the richest gold strikes in the West occurred on our ranch.
We start early on the ranch. You may join us or sleep a little extra. We saddle horses before breakfast and some of the crew attends to other ranch chores. After breakfast, we head out through the mountains. . . sometimes we are moving cattle and we take a lunch with us for those longer rides. Other times you are watching the wildlife and the majestic mountain scenery of the ranch. In the afternoons, we fish, goldpan, swim, hike, or work on ranch chores. In the evenings, we often go for a wildlife tour, teach Western Horsemanship & training, or sit by the fire.

The typical day starts with Breakfast at 8:30 am, the kids and teens programs follow from 9:30 until 12:30, and during this time are the morning horse rides as well. Lunch is at 12:30 and is followed with afternoon activities. This is when you can ride horses, go on the climbing wall and zip-line, golf down in Estes Park, go on the rafting trip down the Poudre River, relax in one of our hammocks, swim in the heated pool or soak in the hot tub. That evening, dinner is at 6:30 pm and evening activities will follow. You can be as busy as you want here or as laid back as you would like.

The Laramie River Ranch is located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains along the pristine Laramie River. Fill your days with horseback riding, cattle penning, fly fishing, tubing down the river, and family oriented activities with our naturalist. We will fill your nights with square dancing, country western music, star gazing, and conversation. Our small size allows us to provide you with a big dose of western hospitality and a chance to make new friends.
Choose from a wide variety of activities. Horseback riding is the central activity, of course. We have educational rides, cattle gathers, team penning, and recreational trail rides to choose from. If you aren't riding, we have a beautiful river at your disposal for fishing, floating, or swimming. We also have a first class naturalist program with guided hikes and talks throughout the week. Kids have a full children's program available so they don't miss out while their parents ride.
