Our tropical decorated guesthouse is located in a typical Amsterdam canal house built in 1777 on the former coastline of Amsterdam. The house has still her original facade with gable stone of an island with 3 palm trees. We welcomed our first guests in August of 1999.
We give each guest a warm welcome, a uniquely decorated room and of course our world famous breakfasts!

The B&B's are in our private homes that we have opened a few rooms to tourists to experience Amsterdam from the local side, we are located right in the heart of the city center, and the buildings dating from 1760 are listed monuments in the city of Amsterdam. The houses are private homes and not hotels so they do not have a lift and all rooms are located on the floors above the street level and are reached by steep and narrow stairs.

'Home away from home' as most of our guests say. This small Amsterdam B&B in the heart of the canal area is truly a quiet retreat. All the home comforts as well as many extra's. A listed monument from the 17th century, a typically merchants house which has been renovated with all the modern comforts.


The B&B is in our private home that we have opened a few rooms to tourists to experience Amsterdam from the local side, we are located right in the heart of the city center, and the building dating from 1620 is a listed monument in the city of Amsterdam. The house is a private home and not a hotel so it does not have a lift and all rooms/apartments are reached by steep and narrow stairs.

East / Watergraafsmeer is one of the most multicultural districts of Amsterdam. Al kinds of restaurants, shops and a market are nearby. Authentic mansions from the 1930’s and new housing projects. Shops, good restaurants, public parcs are nearby. Public pool is at 100 meter from the Bed en Breakfast. A 10 minute ride with a tram and you are on Dam Square. You can rent a bike (50 meter) nearby to go around like the Dutch do. The Zoo (Artis) is 2 tramstops away. Amsterdam is located about 17 km from Airport Schiphol and about 25 km from the sea with regular train connections.
Hermitage, Anne Frank House, Tropical Museum, Dam Square, Diamant Factory, Van Gogh Resistance museum all within 10 minute reach by tram.
2 bed breakfast rooms are decorated in art nouveau style and are located on the second floor in our guesthouse. You have your own table and chairs and free coffee making facilities, bathrobes and Wifi. In our kitchen we serve breakfast, lunch or dinner or cooking class. In good weather you can breakfast in our garden. In the kitchen are changing exhibitions contemporary Dutch art exhibited. The bathroom is located between the rooms. During your stay we also offer romantic dinners and culinary packages including breakfast with champagne, room service, guest at the table or romantic dinner.

Our apartments are just oppossite Dam Square and Royal Palace, you can actually see it through your windows. Two minute walk to Central STation, Jordan area is just around the corner. You will find yourself amidst of all famous and beautifull cultural hot spots Amsterdam has to offer. Anne Franks house, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum all within walking distance

The Flying Pancake is located in the historic city center of Amsterdam close to all major attractions. The Rembrandt House, the Hermitage Museum, the Care theatre, the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens are three minutes walk away. Tram 9 or 14 will bring you within 10 minutes to all other attractions such as Rijksmuseam, van Gogh mueseum or Anne Frank House. The nearby metrostaion will bring you to all congress centers such as RAI, Hospitals and University's. Our neigboorhood is green, quiet and offers shops and good restaurants within 100 meters.
The suites are known as the Cook Suite and the Captain's Suite. The house is built in 1730 and is completely renovated with all modern comfort.

B & B Flynt is centrally located, a short walking distance to the Vondelpark, Museums, shopping streets and some well known restaurants. The "Jordaan" area is also close by, with it's interesting shops and restaurants. You can also embark on a boat trip of Amsterdam's famous canals nearby.

The house is ideally situated in a quiet street for you to enjoy a restful and comfortable stay in this fascinating city, with it's many facets and charms. Frank and Ieke will try to ensure that you enjoy your stay with their personal attention to detail and they hope hat their efforts will meet your requirements.

Between Art and Kitsch is located ideally for everything Amsterdam has to offer: the museums are just around the corner, and so is the Heineken brewery. Everything within the canal area is not more than a 20-30 minute walk from the house. And if you are tired of walking, there are plenty of trams to take you anywhere within the city.


We have two double rooms: one in a 1920's Art Deco style, the other one in a "kind" of baroque style.

From your window you will see the Rijksmuseum and the canal "The Boerenweetering".

Once you step out of the door and close it behind you...... you are right in the middle of it, you can feel the spirtit! - Close to and in between Leidseplein and Kerkstraat.- To minutes from Reguliersdwarsstraat.- An endless choice of restaurants, theatres, and museums in walking distance!
The (non smoking) guest-room location is quiet and separated from our own apartment to secure your privacy.
A double bed and a private bathroom (toilet, bath and shower) are at your disposal.
