Join us on this 17 days/16 nights adventurous ESCORTED TOUR to experience the wild and hidden Patagonia as well as the world-renowned sites.You will visit Peninsula Valdes to observe its rich wildlife (penguins, elephant seals, sea lions, rheas and other bird species). You will traverse Patagonia by land and witness the magical past of the Tehuelches at "Cueva de las Manos" (cave paintings). You will trek and enjoy magnificent views of Cerro Fitz Roy and surrounding peaks. You will be amazed by "Glaciar Perito Moreno" at Los Glaciares National Park, and hike around Torres del Paine National Park. Finally, you will cross the Strait of Magellan and discover "The End of the World", Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. Our trips are for active, flexible-minded people who enjoy the unusual and the adventurous. For trips like expeditions or some treks, you need to remember that even the easiest walking or trekking involves some exertion, so you should be reasonably fit and sure that you will enjoy the activity. There will also be times when you will have to put up with temporary lack of civilised comforts, such as a hot shower, or a/c in your room.
Quality should not be confused with luxury: we believe that the best way to discover the essence of a country is to use accommodation with character and transport appropriate to the terrain, whether that is a 4x4 jeep or a mule.
Our main purpose is to enrich peoples lives by creating unique, interactive travel experiences, breaking down prejudice, building understanding and creating a better and more caring world, and at the same time, having the time of our lives doing it!

All our treks start and finish in Huaraz, or another town nearby. Add extra days for international flights and travel from and to Lima.

During treks we use donkeys or porters to carry camping and cooking equipment, food, your personal gear. You only need to carry a day rucksack with camera, snacks, lunch, warm clothes, etc. We only use reputable donkey drivers, and ensure the donkeys are treated humanly, are well cared for and carry a maximum allowable weight of 30 kgs, Where porters are used, The maximum allowable weight that donkeys carry 40kgs including their own gear.


Santa Cruz Llanganuco Trek - 4 / 5 days
A popular shorter treking the Cordillera Blanca. Its popularity is due to the spectacular mountain views, crystal blue lakes and the challenging pass Punta Union at altitude 4750m. An amazing variety of scenery in only 4 or 5 days.

Circuit Alpamayo – 13 days
The Cordillera Blanca must provide one of the most varied landscapes for trekking and climbing in the world. There are more than 50 peaks of 5700m of higher, including Huascarán at 6768m - the highest mountain in Peru and also the beautiful pyramid of Alpamayo. There are blue lakes, high passes, glaciers, awesome vertical walls and spectacular campsites. Our trek passes by all these features.

In the Andes of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Patagonia we offer group and tailor-made trekking, mountainerring and mountain biking tours. Also Amazon and cultural trips. On trek we go for quality camping, with porters, cooks, dining tent and five star food. We also organise superb salsa dancing holidays in Cuba and wildlife focussed trips in Guyana. Some of the best scenery in the world can be seen in South America, the Amazon and in the Andes - we will take you there.
Early start for a 6 hour day of trekking through Andean valleys. Knowledgable, qualified guides with many years experience will provide as much information on local customs, flora, fauna and history of the Andes, an area rich in tradition and culture. Picnic lunch on route and arrive at camp with plenty of free time for exploring further or relaxing after the exertions of the day. Football with the team at 4,000 metres above sea level could leave you breathless, but its fun. A quality three course dinner and chat around the table, then an early night for tomorrows early start.

SOFT TREKKING
Soft trekking with 4x4 vehicle approach.

Our Soft Trekkings are short-duration circuit designed for any kind of traveller. These are circuits that can be done during a weekend.

EXPEDITIONS
Long run expedition with pack mules support.

Intensity: 6 to 8 hours Trekking per day
Our Expeditions are designed to leave an indelible mark on the lives of individuals who look for adventure and exploration.
Travelling with caravan supported by pack mules and llamas, no fewer than 80% of the nights are spent on camp accommodation or Aymara housing.
The tours are conducted entirely through Ancestral Troperas Routes, always guided by experienced Aymara guides, who knows the terrain they step as the palm of their hands. All routes are outside the traditional tourist circuit, which reduces almost to zero the chances of meeting another group of travelers during our tour.

(B/L/D)Day 4 Paramaribo – Ralleighvallen Nature ReserveThis nature reserve, situated along the Coppename River has an area of 78.170 acres and is a gate way to the Central Suriname Nature ReserveYou travel there by charter airplane (less then an hour). The reserve headquarters and the tourist lodges are located on Fungu Island in the middle of the Coppename River, where you will stay for the next 3 nights at the GONINI / LOLOPASI. Eco lodges.After arrival, you may visit the Manarivallen, where you can take a refreshing bath, after dinner, the guide informs you about the Central suriname nature reserve and the Marroon culture in this area.The days here are filled with jungle hikes, mountain hikes, birdwatching and dugout canoe trips. In the late afternoon you can take dugot canoe rides around the island which offers sightings of different bird species and of course the serene, untouched tropical rainforest. (B/L/D)Day 5 RalleighvallenAll day for exploringA typical day may begin early in the morning, you will depart equipped with a lunchbox and flask to the Voltzberg.The hike takes about 3 hours. Along the way you can enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna.Rest in the base camp at the foot of the mountain. The trip continues with climbing the top of the mountain (approx. 240 m high.). From where you will have a magnificent view of the rainforest canopy.After lunch you hike back to the riverside. You can take a relaxing bath in the Anjumara vallen.Dinner is served at the lodge (B/L/D)Day 6 Ralleigh Vallen ParamariboAll day for Exploring and Relaxing. A typical day may be in the morning, you will take an educational hike to the Moedervallen. If possible swimming is allowed at the Lolopasi beach.In the afternoon, you hike around Fungu Island.The guide teaches you more about the flora and fauna of Ralleighvallen. (B/L/D)Day 7 Free Time in the Early morning to explore, relax or swim.Late in the morning. The return flight departs to Paramaribo. The journey lasts about 50 minutes.The bus transports you back from Zorg & Hoop airfield to the Eco-Resort Inn.For the Overnight, if time permits, you can explore the city and visit Ready Tex, a native arts and crafts Gallery. (The Lady Blue, Wich its various old dutch colonial plantations of which some are still active.You will visit the New Amsterdam Museum; Marienburg, the oldest Sugarcance plantation in Suriname; Rust en Werk; the Tilapia fishery and Agricultural Projects in Alkmaar, Katwijk and Surroundings.You will see fisher men in the area pull in the Shrimps and you will visit the fish-Smokery.**Note that dinner is not included, as we will arrange a Farewell DinerDay 9 Suriname U.S.A GatewayTransfer from the Eco-Resort to the Johan Adolf Pengel Airport (zanderij) for return flight.The drive from Paramaribo to the Airport takes about an hour.
